Comcept: | To kill someone is a crime. But in a different environment and situation, it is applauded and rewarded at times. At the time of war, that is. But is the act of killing an honorable act worth praises and rewards? I believe killing someone should never be considered an honor no matter what the situation. We, for our children, must build a peaceful world without wars. In such a world, no act of killing, regardless of the situation, would be rewarded or be considered honorable.

Coment: | There is danger in the fact that the unforgivable act of killing could turn into a medal-winning act of honor at times of war. As the threat of war and terrorist attacks increases around the globe, there is a renewed need for emphasis on the anti-war message. The image of the bloodstained medal placed over a camouflage uniform is somewhat eerie and sends out a strong visual message.
