City of Nagoya released the “Design City Declaration” 30 years ago and has been working to connect the city with global community, focusing on the possibilities of design.
In the “NAGOYA DESIGN FIND 2019”, panelled and displayed there are Nagoya’s communication design, craft products, landscape, social design, and food culture, to connect the past 30 years to the future.
It will be held as part of the “NOW-NAGOYA DESIGN GENERATION” an exhibition and workshops project that creates the era of design together with citizens, with a view to rethink the ability to design for the culture and industry of Nagoya and create the next 30 years at a turning point when design that creates lifestyle and culture is required more than ever, not just decorations nor surface design.
