Discovering Innovative Perception and Communication
36 young designers/students from 5 Japanese Universities and 11 winners of this year’s NAGOYA DESIGN DO! Competition from 8 countries will share a cross-disciplinary and cross-cultural experience. These young designers will explore their five senses (sight, smell, taste, sound and touch) by interacting with a navigation system designer from Toyota, an electronic musician, a Sake (Japanese rice wine) specialist, a Japanese chef, a ceramics designer, a lacquerware craftsman, a taiko (Japanese drum) /shamisen headmaster, and the head nun from a zen temple.
