Toward the Next Generation: The Challenges of Young Designers from Around the World
Design: The Next Generation

Can designers prove to us that design is a most powerful instrument for improving the quality of our daily lives and the products that surround us? Viewed from the fresh perspevtive of young designers from diverse cultures, traditions and climates all around the world, this project aims to explore the future trend of design via exhibitions, workshops and symposiums covering all disciplines.

The exhibition spotlights the contrastive features found in contemporary creations by 160 designers from 31 countries*. At this venue, cultural tradiotions and culinary art from each participant’s countries are also presented by their embassies in Japan.
