Do you know about the “Design Award”?
The Design Award is a system for evaluating and recognizing outstanding design of products and services. However, at the same time, it is also an evaluation of the extent to which a company incorporates design into its daily management, updates its values, and contributes to society from multiple perspectives. It is an important part of corporate branding and marketing.
In this seminar, local companies that have won numerous design awards in recent years will introduce their activities in the product field, a field closely related to manufacturing companies, and will provide hints on how to tackle design awards in your own company. Aichi Co., Ltd., which manufactures furniture and creates spaces in educational and public facilities, has been winning design awards for many years and has been able to expand into overseas markets. Dream Inc., which plans idea products for beauty, health, and living, has taken the opportunity of renewing its brand “&MEDICAL” to challenge and successfully win numerous awards.
The moderator will be Mr. Takashi Honda, a member of the Good Design Award jury, who will talk about the activities of these two companies and discuss the merits of winning a design award for a manufacturing company and how to start your own design award program.
