An exhibition of works by members of the Chubu Design Association (CDA). This exhibition is held to contribute to the improvement of design professionals and the promotion of design, and to provide an opportunity for not only members, corporate members, and circle members, but also the general public to become familiar with a wide variety of CDA creators and their works.
The word “Zanmai” in the title “Nagoya Design Zanmai” is used to refer to “being absorbed in something” or “seeking something to the fullest”. It comes from the Buddhist term “Samadhi”, meaning a state of concentration in which one’s mind is not disturbed by one’s surroundings. This is an enjoyable exhibition that conveys the enthusiasm of CDA members for craftsmanship. The exhibited works are available for purchase with some exceptions.
