Aichi/Nagoya Arts & Design Tour is a tour designed to help participants rediscover the allure of Nagoya. Participants visited the city with expert interpreters focusing on art and design.
The Creative Design City Nagoya Organizing Committee supported the planning of half of the project’s eight tours.

◎Museum Art Tour
Ahead of Aichi Triennale 2013, participants appreciated the Noe Aoki Exhibition (mounted jointly by the Nagoya City Art Museum and Toyota Municipal Museum of Art) interpreted by the curators of the Noe Aoki exhibition at the Triennale.

◎Creative Tour in Choja-machi
Participants strolled around Choja-machi, one of the main venues of Aichi Triennale 2010. They visited Art Lab Aichi, art spaces in this district, shared studios in the Yebisu Building and TRANSIT BUILDING, and, at the end of the tour, checked out creators shop Loop in NADYA PARK.

◎Campus Art Tour
Participants appreciated the less-than-commonly viewed art, design and architectural works exhibited in university venues, such as architecture designed by Junzo Yoshimura at the Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts and Music and work exhibited in Nagoya University’s Toyota Auditorium, Noyori Materials Science Laboratory, Noyori Conference Hall and Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

◎Exploratory Tour in the forest of Art & Science
With curators’ guidance, participants visited Shirakawa Park, Nagoya City Art Museum and Nagoya City Science Museum. They also appreciated examples of public art in Shirakawa Park with interpretation by an active local sculptor.
