Title: Spectrum-Eye drop application aid

Comcept: Applying eye drops cab be a frustrating and difficult experience for users. This can be due to fear of the solution dripping towards the eye, or difficulty in squirting the solution in the right direction. This process can be even more frustrating when the end users are of a young age.
Spectrum seeks to provide comfort for these users by providing a visual focus for the users. When users place the cup over their eyes, they can focus on a kaleidoscopic image within the cup. By focusing on the image while squirting the eye solution, the task can be completed with ease and even an element of fun.
Development Process
Refinement was based on hygiene concerns and ease of use. Increased height to ensure that the eye can focus on the image. Use of a turning dial for better control as squeezing motion is unpredictable at times as liquid does not dispense smoothly.Designed for one-time usage eye-drop capsules for hygiene and safety.

Coment: The idea to use a kaleidoscope is very unique and will surely prove effective especially for children requiring eye drops.
In the first judging stage, advice was given to change the capsule design to a disposable type for sanitary and safety reasons. We could see in the second stage many improvements made to the design, and the video presentation showing the prototype added a sense of completeness to the piece.
