Sanja Rocco Croatia Art director

Sanja Rocco is a graphic designer and art director at Rocco & Partner. She also teaches design theory at Zagreb School of Management. She graduated at the Faculty of Architecture and did her master degree in marketing at the Faculty of Economics, the University of Zagreb. As a practicing designer, she won a number of national and international awards, such as Gold at 3rd Crane European Letterhead Design Competition, London, 1996; Honorable Mention at BIO 15, Ljubljana, 1996; Merit Award at 78th ADC New York Annual, 1999 (co-author T. Bratelj) etc. Her work was published in the European Design Annual 2000, "AREA": 100 graphic designers / 10 curators / 10 classics, Phaidon 2004. etc. [Judge and Board Member] Ms. Rocco was the Director of ZGRAF 8, the international exhibition of graphic design held in Zagreb, 1999. She served as Vice-President of ICOGRADA (1999-2001). She also served on several national and international judging panels at design competitions. She is a member of Croatian professional associations: ULUPUH and HDD.
